The Colombian Applied Linguistics Journal, CALJ, is a publication of the School of Sciences and Education, at Universidad Distrital in Bogotá, Colombia. It is published twice a year for professionals of Education interested in research and teaching issues in the field of Applied Linguistics for the Teaching of English. CALJ is mainly concerned with informing the community about current completed and ongoing research relevant to teaching and learning English as a foreign language, sharing theoretical discussion papers, and presenting reflections on the praxis of language teaching.
